1st International Film Festival Awards ‧ Macao (IFFAM) was held in Macao in December 2016. This star-studded international film industry mega event was organized by Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) and Macau Film & Television Productions and Culture Association (MFTPA). 54 Public Screenings, Industry Hub, Masterclasses, Press Conferences and more took place throughout the Festival and attracted international filmmakers and industry delegates.
Lighthouse was the hub for international media: information dispatch, accreditation, messaging, and on-site media and media center arrangements. With a meticulously mapped-out festival media strategy, media outlets from across Greater China, Europe, US, Japan, and other countries were invited to cover this spectacular festival. Key events including official press conferences, opening and closing ceremonies, together with press screenings have put the festival on the global film industry’s top radar. The Festival was publicized worldwide with in-depth interviews in print, electronic and online media. Media mentions came in their hundreds, generating over HKD 80 million in media value.
