The first case of the partnership is the opening ceremony of the HKUST NIE Social Media Laboratory itself at the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology today. Established by Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, The Laboratory is Asia’s first unconventional laboratory specializing in the research and design of next-generation social media systems, networks and application.
